Week 21 features two photos from Lisa. Why? Because I didn’t double check with her which was her preferred photo, and I wanted to publish this post now because I should have published days ago.
One of the difficult things about being friends with someone on the other side of the world is that sometimes you want to talk to them when they are asleep. Right now is one of those situations. I should have clarified earlier in the week when Lisa sent her two choices through which one was her photo of the week, but I didn’t. So, please enjoy these two photos from Lisa.
What this post does is show a little behind the scenes of our project. Often there is more than one photo each week to choose from. Lisa and I will share our photos, asking each other for advice or simply an opinion, before deciding what photo makes the cut. That was the situation for Lisa here.
She had two photos that she liked, for various reasons. I wasn’t particularly helpful with decision making, liking both of them for various reasons.
For myself I took three photos and knew immediately which was the keeper. As is often the case with me my photo is an abstract. I walked past a window, saw the colours coming through it and grabbed my camera. Three photos later and I was done. Once I loaded them onto my computer, I immediately deleted two. My gut told me this one was the keeper.
I love how your photo looks like sand after the tide has come and gone.
