Dual Views - A Side Project Week 16
Well, it’s happened again. I am late to publish. An entire week late. Lisa and I both have our photos taken and edited for week 17 and yet I’m only managing to publish week 16 now. I have a half written story sitting in my drafts folder that has sat there for weeks now, languishing as my attention is called elsewhere. I will return to it, along with other things that are being ignored like mopping the floor, detailing my car, not to mention a bunch of craft projects and letters that need to be replied to.
At least by publishing this I have ticked one thing off my to do list. It’s a small thing but one that is important to me. This project between Lisa and I allows me to look at my world differently each week as I find a way to photograph a sunset in a way that represents how I am feeling in that moment. Some weeks it is easier to do than others, but thats part of the reason why I’m enjoying this project so much. It pushes me every week to continually get better. To seek out new ways to see my world and represent that through a photograph.
The idea that there will eventually be 52 photos that represent 52 moments of my life across one year is both an exciting prospect as well as a little strange. I look forward to seeing the end result.
